Tonette Copes was born and raised in a small town named Bridgeton which is located in New Jersey. She started writing at the age of seven. She would write about anything that challenged her imagination. As she got older she stepped away from her talent after certain events took place in her life. Years passed in which another issue arose, this time forcing her out of her bed at night causing her to write. Her writing came in poetry form. Writing poetry allowed her to quickly jot down different emotions as she was feeling them. Falling in love with poetry as it brought therapy to her soul; she still knew that there was more where this came from. She then broadened her horizons to novel writing.

 

Her novels are entertaining imaginary events that makes any reader feel as though they are a part of her story; both emotionally and physically. Therefore, there is a valuable message behind each book that she writes.

 

Tonette has a book of poetry titled Bleeding Internally. She has a novel titled Fatal Secrets… Web of Love and she also recently completed the sequel to her first novel which is titled Fatal Secrets … Uncovered.

 

Seeing her readers excitement from the events that took place from her book trailer; she then had another idea. She contacted two good friends of hers MaQuan Dawkins and Jay Wes; she then began her screen screenwriting process. She now has a Movie that premiered on July 28, 2012. Fatal Secrets is also available in DVD form. Her motto is “You’re the only one who can truly predict the ending solution of your dreams. If you can dream it you can live it.”
