Jock Phenix was born in Lake Providence, Louisiana then later moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After reading “The Coldest Winter Ever” By Sistah Souljah he started reading more Urban Street Novels and studying the craft. Jock felt a sense of connection to the stories he read due to the fact that he was living the lifestyle the Street Lit Authors were writing about and decided it was time to pick up the pen and pad and tell his story. 

 

In 2011 Jock Phenix started working on his first novel titled “Frenemiez” based on his life. Currently Jock is a Realtor and Homestead Realty INC, and works closely with banks assessing properties.
